„Im Frühjahr 2014 war Dawa Sherpa mein persönlicher Sherpa auf einer Mount Everest Expedition.
Leider wurden wir Augenzeuge der tragischen Lawine im Khumbu-Eisbruch.
Während Dawa bei der Bergung der Opfer im Eisbruch half, organisierte ich die medizinische Versorgung der verletzten Sherpas im Basislager. Nach der Expedition besuchte ich alle Sherpa-Familien der Opfer in Khumbu und Kathmandu und gab Spenden.
Zurück in Deutschland sammelte ich weitere Spenden und schuf Patenschaften für die Ausbildung der Kinder, die ihren Vater verloren haben."
Wenige Stunden nach dem Erdbeben 2015 reiste ich nach Nepal und operierte Erdbebenopfer mit gebrochenen Knochen. Die Lawine am Mount Everest und das Erdbeben haben mich stark geprägt.
Ich habe die „Sherpa Nepalhilfe Deutschland“ ( www.sherpanepalhilfe.de ) gegründet, um die Bergbevölkerung Nepals nach Naturkatastrophen und Bergunglücken zu unterstützen.
Drei Schulen und ein Gemeindezentrum wurden nach dem Erdbeben von der „Sherpa Nepalhilfe“ wieder aufgebaut.
Das größte Projekt ist das Himalayan Sherpa Hospital in Khumbu, das 2022 eröffnet wird.

We have helped complete various adventures and projects together including the documentary adventure series of “Desafio Everest” and recently assisted in filming an episode for their travel adventure show "Planeta Calleja", by Zanskar productions.
Working with Jesus Calleja, David Bisbal and the team, we also distributed relief materials at Deplang & Thadi (Dolkha district) to support the quake victims of April & May 2015.

This is third time I have been working in the Himalayas with Thamserku and I am very pleased with our work.
I completed a very impressive trek on Machapuchare in the western part of Nepal.
Three years ago we had the experience of making a film, it was the film of my life, we shot mostly in the Himalayas with Thamserku as it was difficult to organize and their help was instrumental.
It was very important to us to go to all these little peaks for filming, so with the use of their Helicopters we were able to shoot with the Cineplex, it’s a special method to show these beautiful mountains from the air.
Thamserku assisted with all the planning and were a great help each day. Thank you Thamserku.
