Pemba Rita Sherpa is from Rolwaling village in the north-central part of Nepal. He started his mountaineering career after a successful ascent of Mera Peak in 2002 as a climbing Sherpa. Pemba is now a fully certified UIAGM/IFMGA Mountain guide leading international expeditions in Nepal and China/Tibet.

Pemba has climbed Everest 10 times and other 8000 meters mountains such as Sisapangma, Cho-Oyu and Manaslu. It is his passion to share his climbing skills to the climbers who are new in the field. As per Pemba, every expedition he had guided has been a wonderful experience. He has lots of respect towards the mountain and the people who are passionate to climb Nepalese Himalayas.

In future, he wishes to climb Denali, Aconcagua and European Alps.
